1. What We Collect

When you create an account or use DripSocial, we may collect:

• Your name and email address (provided during registration or via Google sign-in).
• OAuth tokens for the social media platforms you connect (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky). We never receive or store your social media passwords.
• Content you create within DripSocial, including post text, uploaded media, and scheduling preferences.
• Basic analytics data retrieved from connected platforms (follower counts, engagement metrics).
• Usage information such as pages visited and features used, collected through server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the service: publishing your scheduled posts, displaying analytics, and managing your connected accounts.
• To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
• To send transactional emails related to your account (password resets, critical service updates).
• To improve DripSocial based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

DripSocial integrates with third-party platforms through their official APIs. When you connect a platform, you authorize DripSocial to access your account in accordance with that platform's own terms and permissions. Each platform's privacy policy governs how they handle your data on their end.

We use Google OAuth for sign-in. Google's privacy policy applies to information collected through that flow.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and follow industry-standard practices for data at rest. OAuth tokens are stored in our database and are used solely to perform actions you authorize.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and connected platform tokens within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Disconnect any connected social media account from DripSocial settings.
• Request a copy of your personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

7. Cookies

DripSocial uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

8. Children's Privacy

DripSocial is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the service. Your continued use of DripSocial after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
